English Conversation Teacher Wanted｜Lessons for Children to Adults
【Job Description】
We are seeking an enthusiastic English conversation teacher to lead engaging, communication-focused lessons for learners ranging from young children to adults.
Classes emphasize real-life conversation skills, tailored to each student's level and goals.
This role is ideal for someone with natural English fluency and a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds, who can foster a friendly and positive classroom. Many of our instructors are women – we highly value those with empathy and a caring teaching style.
【Key Responsibilities】
- Teaching English conversational and academic lesson to learners from preschoolers to adults (group or one-on-one lessons)
- Creating and updating lesson materials and plans
- Assisting with seasonal and cultural events
- Attending staff meetings and training sessions
【Required Skills & Experience】
- Teacher whose native language is English or at the same level
- Teacher who has been permitted to reside in Japan for more than one year
- Familiarity with both Japanese and English-speaking cultures
- Friendly, respectful, responsible, and skilled in communicating with children and adults
- Prior teaching experience of at least 2 years
【Employment Type】
Freelance (quasi-delegation contract)
Working days and hours are flexible and negotiable (evening and weekend availability is a plus)
【Location】
Nakagusuku Village, Okinawa (car commuting available)
【Compensation】
- ¥2,000 per lesson (50-minute class + 10-minute break)
- Additional compensation provided for preparation and reporting time per day:
- If teachig for 1 lesson per day, 30 minutes prep + 30 minutes reporting: ¥1,000
- If teaching for 2 or more lessons per day, 60 minutes prep + 30 minutes reporting: ¥1,500
- Preparation time may vary depending on lesson content and schedule.

1st Round: Document Screening – Please submit your resume (in English or Japanese).
2nd Round: Interview – You may be asked to conduct a brief demonstration lesson during the interview.

Urgently Needed Work Hours
We are currently looking for someone who must be able to work during the following schedule:
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Adult's class)
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Children's class)
Regular Operating Hours / Spot Shift Availability
In addition to the above schedules, we also welcome staff who are available to work on a spot basis during our regular operating hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
