- Pay: ¥10,000 / session
- Hours: Approx. 3 hours per tour, evening (project-based, fully flexible — you choose your availability)
- Location: Local bars and izakaya nationwide (you choose the spots — we provide guidance)
- Requirement: Fluent to near-native English, conversational Japanese
- Must be 20+
- Commitment: Spot work — no weekly commitment, lead as many or as few tours as you want
*Must currently hold a valid work-authorized visa in Japan — we do not sponsor visas

This role is run through WOW, a guide-matching platform operated by Yummy Guide, Inc. As a Wowie, you'll take guests on a 3-stop bar and izakaya hopping tour, giving them a real, local night out — not a tourist-trap version of one.

- You genuinely love Japan's local food & drink culture and can speak to it with real depth
- You can go beyond small talk — real storytelling in English
- You're comfortable navigating day-to-day interactions in Japanese
- You're reliable and hospitality-minded
- You're 20 or older
- No prior guiding experience needed — training provided
