仕事内容:

訪日外国人向けの夜のフードツアー(最大12名)のガイドのお仕事です。新宿・思い出横丁とゴールデン街を徒歩で巡り、焼き鳥と日本酒を楽しみながら、街の歴史や居酒屋文化を英語で紹介する約3時間のツアーです。
※6名以上の場合は2名体制になります。

【主な業務内容】

・思い出横丁周辺でゲストをお出迎え → 思い出横丁 → 立ち飲み → ゴールデン街の順に案内

・注文、会計、カバーチャージ、お店の作法の案内(店舗への支払いは会社負担)

・食文化、歴史、サラリーマン文化などの解説(トークスクリプトあり)

・ツアー終了時のおすすめマップ共有とレビュー依頼

【報酬】

・1ツアー(拘束約3時間)3,900円〜9,000円(経験・語学力により決定)

・ツアー中のご自身の飲食は会社負担（上限2,500円）

【応募資格】

・英語で流暢にガイドができる方(ネイティブレベル歓迎)

・日本語で飲食店スタッフと円滑にやりとりできる方(日常会話以上)

・20歳以上(アルコールを提供するツアーのため)

・国籍不問。外国籍の方は就労可能な在留資格をお持ちの方(留学生は資格外活動許可)

・接客、ガイド、飲食、ホテル等の経験があれば尚可(未経験OK)

ツアーガイドデビュー

アシスタント参加後、ツアーガイドとして実際のツアーをご担当いただきます。

We are looking for guides to lead an evening food tour for international visitors in Shinjuku.

This is a small-group tour for up to 12 guests. You will guide guests on an approximately 3-hour walking tour through Shinjuku’s Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai, where they can enjoy yakitori and sake while learning about the area’s history and Japanese izakaya culture in English.

For groups of 6 or more guests, the tour will be led by two guides.

【Main Responsibilities】

・Meet and welcome guests near Omoide Yokocho, then guide them through Omoide Yokocho → a standing bar → Golden Gai

・Assist with ordering and payments, and explain cover charges and local bar etiquette (venue costs are covered by the company)

・Introduce Japanese food culture, local history, salaryman culture, and more (a tour script will be provided)

・Share a recommended local map with guests at the end of the tour and ask them to leave a review

【Compensation】

・JPY 3,900–9,000 per tour (approximately 3 hours), depending on experience and language skills

・Your own food and drinks during the tour are covered by the company (up to JPY 2,500 per tour)

【Requirements】

・Fluent English and the ability to confidently guide guests in English (native-level English speakers are welcome)

・Conversational Japanese or above, with the ability to communicate smoothly with restaurant and bar staff

・Must be 20 years old or older (as the tour includes alcohol)

・All nationalities are welcome. Non-Japanese applicants must have valid permission to work in Japan (international students must have permission to engage in activities outside their current visa status)

・Experience in customer service, tour guiding, food & beverage, hotels, or hospitality is a plus, but no previous guiding experience is required

・Is looking for a side job on weekday evenings or weekends (a licensed tour guide qualification is not required)

【Selection Process】

1. Apply through Indeed

2. Online Interview (15–30 minutes)
We’ll have a short online interview to get to know you and discuss the role.

3. Join Two Tours as an Assistant
You’ll join two actual tours as an assistant to learn the tour flow and how to communicate with guests.
Compensation: JPY 3,000 per tour

4. Start as a Tour Guide
After completing the two assistant tours, you’ll begin leading tours as a guide.

勤務時間・曜日:

・予約成立時のみ稼働(不定期・業務委託)

・主に18:00〜22:00の間

・週1回〜OK、金・土・日のみも可、副業歓迎

・シフトは前月に希望日を提出、予約が入った日のみ確定します

休暇・休日:

・業務委託のため固定の休日はありません。希望日ベースで稼働日を選べます

・ツアー実施は現状夜間(17:00 〜22:00目安)のみ。

勤務地:

・勤務地は新宿駅周辺(思い出横丁・歌舞伎町・ゴールデン街エリア)。思い出横丁集合・現地解散

・受動喫煙対策: 訪問先の一部店舗に喫煙可能スペースがあります(このため募集は20歳以上です)

給与:

・報酬は業務委託の出来高制です: 1ツアー(拘束約3時間)あたり3,900円〜9,000円(経験・語学力により決定)

・アシスタントとしてツアーに参加（2回） 1回3,000円
