We are a growing online English education company based in Seoul, South Korea. We teach motivated Korean kindergarten and elementary students, primarily ages 6–9, in small online groups of 3–4 students.
Our classes focus on helping students actively use English through vocabulary, speaking, discussion, sentence writing, and structured writing. Lesson slides, teaching guides, and core materials are provided.
We are looking for experienced, engaging, and reliable teachers who enjoy working with young learners and are interested in consistent, long-term remote teaching.
Position Details
- Pay: KRW 40,000–60,000 per hour
- Schedule: Primarily 7:00–9:30 PM Korea Standard Time
- Fully remote
- Students: Korean elementary students, approximately ages 6–9
- Class format: Small groups of up to 3–4 students
- Class length: Approximately 60 minutes
- Main textbook: Sadlier’s Vocabulary Workshop
- Lesson slides, teaching guides, and core materials are provided
- Classes are held primarily between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Korea Standard Time
- Teachers must be able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
What We’re Looking For
- Native English-speaking background with clear, natural spoken English
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience teaching kindergarten or elementary-aged children
- Experience teaching English as a second or foreign language
- Previous live online teaching experience
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and encourage students to speak in complete sentences and support their ideas with details
- Reliable internet, computer, camera, microphone, and professional teaching space
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable following a structured curriculum
Required Qualifications
- Native-level English proficiency with clear and easily understood spoken English
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience teaching elementary-aged children
- Experience teaching English as a second or foreign language
- Experience teaching live online classes through Zoom, Google Meet, or a similar platform
- Reliable high-speed internet
- A working computer, camera, and clear microphone
- A quiet, tidy, and professional teaching space
- Ability to follow a structured curriculum while keeping lessons engaging
Compensation
- KRW 40,000–60,000 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and teaching performance
- Required training sessions and operations meetings are paid separately
- A paid demonstration class may be required during the hiring process
- Additional classes and rate increases may become available based on reliability, teaching quality, student retention, and long-term performance
